HTC
revenues in April Rises 23% Thanks to HTC. For almost 2 years the
market share of HTC began to weaken because of the dominance vendor
competitors, it makes their income gradually down each year. But in
April the Taiwanese vendors began to see hope. HTC reported revenues
increased by 23% in April and reached $ 657 million, it is driven by the
launch of the HTC flagship phone.
Although revenue increased
this month but when compared to the company's revenue in the same month
last year recorded a decrease of 36.9%. At least this increase will
bring the company into a more positive direction in the months that
followed, at least this is what is believed by their CEO.
HTC CEO
Peter Chou believes that the performance of the company will be better
in the next 2 months, along with the HTC supply will be increased. The
company's total revenue for the second quarter is expected to reach $
2.4 billion.
